Organic farm estate appoints new Sales Manager

When you have one of the most prestigious names in retail and wholesale quality organic meat, you need to have a sales force that can demonstrate dedication, commitment and overall flair for selling your products.

Rhug Estate supply some of the best known Michelin Star Chefs, restaurants, hotels and leading food service companies in the UK. Our brief was to find suitable candidates and also lead the final interview panel to get the best person for the job.

The successful candidate was appointed and duly embarked upon induction training.

Selling organic Aberdeen Angus or a Gourmet Pie to a busy chef in the city is one thing but when you have customers around the UK; keeping in regular contact and knowing their forthcoming requirements is no mean feat especially when you also have to understand the seasonal aspects of the farm and butchery capacity.

They say the proof is in the eating and this is one happy sales manager that is carving himself a nice career.

The kettles on for Fairtrade

Tea is a growing success for many fairtrade and organic tea brands in the UK. Supplying several of these companies with a multitude of skills, we have seen them grow in popularity.

Marketing, Sales, Administration, Supply chain, Accountancy and Board level... the list goes on and so do the careers of everyone placed in these companies.

Several of our candidates have said they wouldn't go back to their previous employment industries having worked in the fairtrade business.

Initially invited to discuss a new strategic management vacancy, we travelled to Alness to see what Aquascot are all about. Very quickly we were engaged in sourcing a new production leadership team and a number of other ongoing vacancies.

New Team: Three bight, experienced production supervisors joined and have already contributed to the highest yield output on record. Customer satisfaction is good, workforce perfomance and attitudes are good and the management team are receiving financial reporting indicating lower wastage and increased productivity.

A year later we have become part of their overall thinking providing a reliable source of recruitment and market information. We are part of Aquascot's select supply chain and look forward to continuing success.
